Suhas Rao

Suhas received his bachelor's in Computer Science and Applied Math from UC Berkeley in 2020, where he developed lineage tracing algorithms for single-cell RNA-seq data in the Yosef Lab. Afterwards, he worked as a quant developer at a hi-freq trading firm for a few years. Most recently, he worked in the Bafna Lab at UCSD on analyzing oncogene amplification mechanisms (ecDNA, BFB) using long-read WGS data.
