Carl completed his B.A. in computational biology at Colby College in Spring 2016 and joined the Park lab shortly after. After starting as a Junior Scientific Programmer in Park Lab, he was rapidly promoted first to Junior Software Developer, then Software Developer, and finally Senior Software Developer for the 4DN DCIC. He manages the back-end development and DevOps of the 4DN Data Portal. As acting lead developer, he helps to coordinate and plan software development throughout the 4DN DCIC team.
